Cost for 2026: $27.58/hr. + GST (min 2 hours) This facility is great for weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, staff functions. Any bookings for Community Events please contact Parks & Recreation Facility Coordinator directly (403.502.8745), as there is more required for an event open to the community and are not to be booked online. . This park also features beautiful wood carved structures throughout the park. Some of the oldest trees in Medicine Hat with a lot of shade. Plenty of room for a bouncy castle! The Kiwanis Central Park Kitchen is located at 11 Street and 3 Avenue S.E. and it offers the following amenities: Fridge / freezer combo Sink w/ hot water Electrical outlets Outside washrooms Serving window 3 large picnic tables under lean-to Public drinking fountain Keypad code is required. ***Instructions: Select a Shelter - Click Choose button, 1. Activity and duration - Select the amount of time you need for your event (2 - 8 hrs) 2. Number of people to attend - Enter # 3. Select an available time to request - use the Jump to Date calendar to find dates with availability. Find the date you need, the blue options are available, these will vary with availability and depending on the Start Time. 4. Click Request Button to book, and then you can pay online! 5. This booking is now waiting for approval from the Recreation Facility Coordinator whom will contact you to ask what you are wanting to do in our beautiful park and then issue your permit and shelter code (if needed)
